Welcome, friend.
We’re Katherine and Jay Wolf—survivors, communicators, and advocates. After giving birth to our first son in 2008, Katherine miraculously survived a catastrophic stroke. Since that day, we’ve used our second-chance lives to champion the truth that suffering and joy can coexist in your good/hard story. Learn more.

Katherine and Jay’s dedication to each other and the Lord through their most devastating season is inspiring. Their story will help your heart believe that He sees, He knows, He cares, and He is still working miracles today.
It’s possible for your pain to propel you to a place of wholeness rather than defeat. Katherine and Jay share lessons that have been won through extreme hardship, but are universally applicable to anyone’s story of pain
There is powerful credibility found in the words of this remarkable couple as they point us to the one they’ve grown to know through the fire. Katherine and Jay use their unique voice to help us reconcile what we all wrestle with in this life—God’s goodness and human suffering.
Katherine and Jay aren’t sharing ideas about how to endure suffering—they are sharing igniting hope that every single one of us needs: the tried, tested, true, and proven way through hard seasons, as told by brave survivor-thrivers who actually, daily, literally incarnate the truth about how to suffer strong.
You’re going to fall in love with our friends—their beauty, humor, and honesty. As they lead you, your suffering may actually turn into your greatest point of access to a broken and desperate world.
Katherine and Jay are two incredible people who, together, are a mighty force. They inspire us every day to live and love and to walk and weep with the strength of God in our spines.
Do not assume you’ve heard it all before. Theirs is a story so raw, visceral, and impossible real that you can’t help but identify.
I stumbled upon Katherine’s blog near the beginning of her recovery. The words of a sister fight for her life captivated us all. Now, years later, she is fighting for our lives, for us to live the fullest we can with all that we’ve been given.
